Already faced this situation in IBM, no projects in chennai so moved to bangalore. Will accenture do the same?

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from.
