How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

Bhailog likh ke lelo ye banda bhi eventually EXL aayega hi. Aur fir 2 mahine baad wahi remorse, repentence and regret ki baaton wali ek post aayegi!
I am skeptical that's why asking from the community about pros and cons.
One technical round is still pending for me.
Also, If you are in managerial I hope you have better insights can you please suggest something...
About learning scope mainly being in the job. Have never worked in a service based one so a lil bit confused.
Also let's say i am dissatisfied after sometime what is the IJP process over there and about notice period.
Overall I find EXL decent. Work life balance is good. Salary is a little better than average. Atleast in my domain (sports & media), there’s no micromanagement.
Hikes have been on the lower side, specially in the last two years…think like 7-10 percent. IJP is tough, specially for analytics. You can switch project within your VP domain, but depends on a lot of factors. Odds are that you will work for atleast two years with the same client, before switching to a different client.
Work timings are 1-10 PM, but overall I find work life balance to be good. It’s just that you will have to work nights, so no perk of Friday nights. On the other hand, your mornings would be free.
I have found people to be good and smart at EXL, considering that a lot of hires happens from IIT and IIM. But the processes at EXL are not good, and it still operates as a BPO company.
Overall, like any other company, it has its pros and cons.
I am an AVP currently.
Thanks for sharing the insights. It really helps understanding about the actual scenario.
However, it seems they are backing out now from the offer saying business team is not approving even after being agreed upon initially before starting the interview rounds.
Not sure if this is a normal practice here.
Pro
Hike are low all the time. There is no culture.
Knowledge growth depends on project but mostly slow.
Is learning steep in your one or have option to broaden our horizon while working and suggesting new implementations? And if suggested then will they allow us to act on it and on new technologies too?
How is IJPs in EXL if we want to move to other profiles just in case in future ?
They are luring with ctc only , don't come in this hellhole.
It seems so thats why here to ask if any current employee can put more light on it.
How much are they offering ..tech stack and years of exp ?
But how much did you ask and tech stack ?
