Hey! Congrats on your graduation. The market is kinda slow, still moving, companies are hiring but its not the peak we had years ago by no means. Id recommend looking for jobs from wherever you are and move in once you have a position secured. Living here its expensive and can add up really quick. You will find a job, just take your time to find the right one and then make the move!
Hi! I am no rush to move, and have been continuously search will still at home with family. I completely agree with you! I certainty need to network and grow connections in Miami in order to find a job I feel. Thank you for giving me your personal view, it helps more than you may think!
There's definitely tech jobs in Miami, just depends on what you are looking for and what kinds of job positions you'd be wanting to apply to. Do you know anyone in Miami who's working in tech currently? I would try to schedule a Zoom interview with anyone you might know who's working in the area to get an idea of what their career trajectory has looked like. You can use LinkedIn to reach out to people who have jobs you might be interested in, I've done that a few times and it's definitely worked well for me. I'd also say, looking for tech-related positions in non-tech companies (like healthcare, insurance, education) can also be a good way to move into the kind of role you're wanting
Miami is lacking tech talent hence a lot of firms are moving out, Ramp, Traba etc
