I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

Learn any front end framework. Like Angular or React. Learn and do cerifications on cloud (eg: AZ-204 Azure developer). Learn .NET CORE.
Now combining all these skills will make u a full stack developer which is hot in market.
Hi,
My situation was kind of similar. I graduated in mechanical engineering and I wasn't even interested in CS. Due to some circumstances, i had to choose CS and placed in infosys and there i was on bench for 1 year and rest 2.5 years i worked in support project. Only knowledge i had was through the training i got and then through so much of struggle, i was able to get a development project. So, my actual learning started from there and I worked day and night in that project. After 6 months I had that much of knowledge to switch and now its been 6 years. I won't say i am very good developer but i can say i am doing fine.
As somebody said, learn front end and also if you are interested cloud, then start learning that too. I am again switching with my tech stack .Net core + azure and i am getting decent amount of calls.
I'm going through the same situation.
Even I don't know what to do.
