PwC A3 here in currently in PCS, but looking to make a transfer into ITS after spring busy season, as well as switch offices. What’s the best way to go about this? Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? I am a recent grad(Finance), and my MBA school is not a named institute like Stanford. I would want to work for a consulting co. who is heavily involved in Finance. Can you help me create a roadmap from where should I start? What are top finance business consulting companies and how to get there? My undergrad was in science.

Is studying for (and hopefully passing) the CFA a good alternative to an MBA for career advancement?

Currently in M&A advisory. Not looking to move into research or portfolio management, just seeking to add an "advanced degree".

How is the Business Operations (BO) team at ZS?
Particularly at AC level.

1. WLB as I have heard is pretty pathetic at ZS. Is it same in BO team as well?

Looking to leave my auditing position with only 3 months of experience... I'm in a relatively small firm, and my manager's micromanaging is insane... Want to go into advisory, any advice is welcome.

Could someone explain what finance closing process is? I passed CPA and have audit experience but I don’t really understand how industry accounting cycle works :( What does it mean to close the books? Are they referring to 12/31 deadline? Do all JE have to be recorded within this date? How does one close it?

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? (PA, consulting, or industry roles) Currently have 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of forensics: I always thought of internal audit as a decent exit but I’m beginning to get worried about getting too specialized to make that move one day

Just got off the phone with a recruiter who asked me what year I graduated from my MBA program and college and effectively told me I was too old for the role. I do have the 1 year of experience they asked for in the job in question. It's just that I have all this other experience in things unrelated to the role or things I want to deemphasize in my next role. Is there anything I can do? I only list the last 8 years of experience (as it's most relevant) and don't have my graduation years listed.

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

I had two technical rounds in tcs last month and now I have got the offer letter from tcs.

But I found one thing unusual that I did not have any salary negotiation call neither any hr round.

They released offer letter directly on ibegin portal with 60% hike on my current ctc .

Should I consider this as a fake recruitement.
