In HR discussion I asked for 38-42 as ECTC for C12 position from 28.75 CTC for 13.4 years. HR said she will check with US team manager and will get back to me.
Is it too high for C12? will HR comeback for discussion?
Any insights?!

Currently an associate at a mid-sized firm with “strong potential” to make partner at the end of this year. Things have been toxic for a while, but have cratered in 2021, with few signs there will be any positive changes on the horizon. What are the pros and cons of staying to make partner before trying to go in-house? I’d assumed it would be better to job search with that title on the resume, but am rethinking my assumptions the worse things get.

So, it’s been two weeks since the last response from the HR recruiter (they said my resume and tests were shared with the team). Should I send an email? It’s normal that some process take this long, but I’m getting a little anxious.
