Just came out from a meeting with the manager and he clearly informed me not to expect much from the appraisal this year.

I was shocked to hear such things when I toiled hard for the success of the project.

He also mentioned appraisals across the organization will be very bad this year due to declining profits.

I have already started preparing for interviews. 😔
