My spouse and I met at a rave 7 years ago. At the time we were dabbling in various recreational drugs (acid, mushrooms, weed, k, molly, alcohol etc), but over the years we've slowly cut back drug use.

I've always been v connected to the rave scene, and before I ever tried drugs I would attend events sober. These days, w my career and where I'm at in life, I'm back to going sober.

Hi Ladies, I’m 31 yrs old I‘m in birth control right now and will be starting Stims from 08/29 as part of IVF treatment. This is my first time IVF, all my results are normal but due to male factor had to go with IVF, and my insurance is not covering for my drug:Follistim-900 unit Pen/Gonal-F, my doctor prescribed Follistim. So I was doing price match for both in Freedom fertility and Village Pharmacy. I see Follistim is costing $2741 and Gonal-F is $847(due to some discount), which is best one?

I don't know if this is right bowl...but I will ask anyway..I feel insanely attached to my kids...even if they get a minor cut/pain, I assume worst & get really worried to the extent I can't think, eat or do anything. TMI question but here goes - I eat a high fiber, veggie focused diet. I’ve suspected that I may have IBS surrounding cruciferous vegetables but I ignore it because I enjoy the taste of them and know they’re good for me, even if it causes me a lot of pain, gas, and bloating. The only issue now is I’m finding that I’m constipated way more often… I could definitely stand to drink more water but I’d think with a high fiber diet I wouldn’t have this problem. Is this IBS related? Any advice?

We got awesome briefs creatives dream of and they wouldn’t lift a finger, putting extra work on the rest of the team. I started working for a bank and am going through the background check. They found an arrest which was dismissed and the file was sealed a few days after the check. They’re requesting the police report on top of the court order to seal. The police report is BAD. During the arrest (DUI) they wrote the report to make me seem like a complete lunatic. Embellished on several elements of the case. I am worried that giving them this report will cause me to be let go.

Starting my sober journey today. Glad to have found this community. Honestly hopeful but also scared.

I’ve been sober about 14 months, and now with things opening up more I’ve been going out to dinner, concerts etc with friends. I’ve been finding it hard to have fun, or not get restless while out. I think a large part of this is maybe I find the company around me boring? and they’re also all drinking. Maybe I just needed to write that out and vent to say, I’m bored! Maybe saying that out loud will help me get out of my comfort zone to find new activities that change my outlook.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who shares in this group. It truly helps me stay sober. I am approaching 12 months sober but have been struggling lately. While I have not relapsed, I’ve been close. Normally, before I get out of bed, I write down my reason to stat sober for the day, but lately the reasons have been lousy at best. But reading about everyone’s struggles and successes has helped get me through this past month. So thank you all for the inspiration to keep going strong!

Recently had a friend tell me about Kill The Can. Says he posts there every day to help keep the addiction out in the open. He is now over 1000 days clean.
Is there anything like this out there for SA/PA? My highest stint of days was 237 and haven’t gotten close since. Mostly making it 1 month and then falling again…

I am an elementary art teacher. I am also in the national guard coming off a recent 2 year deployment my marriage is struggling, my school was unsupportive, and my 3 kids are having issues with me leaving. I took to alcohol for about a year it was a bottle of whiskey per day. I've been sober 4 months now but none of the other issues went away and it gets rough. Sometimes it seems like it would be easier to go back or be gone.
