I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? I'm not a reporter, I'm just a citizen who took a picture during an event and uploaded it to my social media account. Turns out a digital media wrote me to have permission to use my picture, and when I said yes, they said they were looking for some other picture because I had already given permission to the competitors, which I didn't.
They just posted it without asking me, letting me know, or even mentioning my credits. Is this legal?

My LWD is 9 nov

My supervisor has been including me in WFO roster since August, but neither did I go to office nor I cancelled the roster.
I didn't received call from the supervisor or the HR also to come to office.

Now as my LWD is near so will this create any problem in FNF ?

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

Hello fishes, recently I have received the job offers from Akamai & Nasdaq with kind of equivalent pay. I've an experience of 2.7 yrs in Java Backend. In Nasdaq, I feel the project is slightly on better side and also domain driven in comparison of Akamai. The only thing that is troubling me is 90 days notice policy in Nasdaq. Just want to check if it's a bad thing or would it still be worthy against the project & domain.

Switching team internally competing with external candidates. was asking a promotion for next grade midpoint but was ok to accept >=50% hike which i told hiring manager before the process start itself which he said will consider if I'm the one selected.

Attended 5 rounds-- 1 coding, 2 technical, 1 managerial, 1 hr. Now after 2 months telling me I'm the selected one, but offering me just 20% hike and same grade

Any chance for negotiations? Any tips or guidance are appreciated. please help
