How do you hire for a role that fluctuates? I currently am the designer + support specialist @ my job. Sometimes support takes up all my time and design projects get pushed back. Hey Fishes, What is the salary band range for a DevOps Engineer with 2 years of experience?

I am an associate at a UMM and my employment contract has a 4 month non compete (yes, even for associates) but I am thinking of lateraling. What are the implications of breaking a non compete? I didn’t say anything when I signed because I was desperate for a PE offer but it seems so unfair as I am just a lowly associate. I am not so much worried about getting sued, but about my current employer tanking my reputation if I leave and break the non compete.

Have been struggling to context switch between different projects that I am working on simultaneously. Any tips? Thanks in advance :)

I have 6+ yoe in business intelligence(Qlik), SQL. Self taught python up to oops/pandas/re.
What's the best direction to take my career forward and transition into a better domain if possible?
Should I do some DS/ML or cloud(azure/gcp) courses? If yes, suggest some.
I get calls for python but they demand scraping & webdev(selenium/bs/django/flask) which I have no interest in.
Can someone guide?
