Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.
All these articles published in India are just to fool them

I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. Yesterday I officially got diagnosed with ADHD and MDD. I knew that I was feeling depressed but somehow getting diagnosed made me feel worse. I feel like I am a big failure. I had a mental breakdown yesterday night. This morning I woke up and cried for an hour at least. I had worse times in my life but this somehow feels like a trap I will never be able to escape. I’m so overwhelmed and lonely. Have no friends or family in the US. Don’t know what to do.
