Hi, I have around 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (Angular + python) and recently started learning cloud concepts (OpenStack, Linux, networking).

I’m trying to decide whether to continue in Full Stack or move towards Cloud/DevOps roles. Could you share your thoughts on:

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?
