I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. What puzzles do people generally get as a question in senior data analyst role interviews ?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
