Have an experience as a Finance executive of 2.5 years and currently working as a junior Financial Controller at London based firm as a part-time till Sept 2022. I want to join BIG4 as I always wanted to join BiG4. So shall I go with the Entry-level position or can apply for an experienced one? I feel that there are certain areas to improve before applying experienced one. Any suggestions?

I've been offered a new role and need advice.

I'd go from VP marketing to Director sales enablement. It's a tech startup. Base stays the same at 74k cdn, but commission moves from .1% of total company rev to 1.5% plus % increases for exceeding targets. All sounds good, but I'm being pressured to answer in 24hrs. Seems odd. They also won't give me equity because of "tax complications" with it being a UK company and I'm a Canadian employee. Bonuses are supposed to make up for that. Thoughts?

3rd job rejection after I thought it went really well. I had really great interviews & good feedback on my portfolio. When I ask why I didn’t get the position the answer I keep getting is “decided to go with someone with more experience”. Which is so frustrating, bc it’s just not as constructive as I’d like. Hello! I joined a company in the UK 6 months ago, and received a £20,000 gross sign on bonus - clause associated to this however was that I stay for a minimum of 12 months. Unfortunately, the role is really proving to be the wrong fit, and I am looking to leave.

Question for you all - if I resign, I assume I would be expected to pay back the sign on bonus despite me only receiving approx 12k after tax. Anyone know the process for a tax clawback for something like this? Thanks in advance!

I have been offered a job at KPMG within cyber security in the uk. Originally it was a 25% hike offer. Now I have received a 8% hike at Deloitte as part of the current performance cycle along with a 5k bonus (great incentives every year) The only thing is KPMG is offering this in a @kpmg regional location where I’m based plus the disadvantage is I need to pay 2500£ for my dependent visa costs which I can save if I continued with Deloitte. Seen Lot of negative comments about KPMG. Any thoughts ?
