Has anyone successfully changed careers after working on set in film/TV production for an extended period of time? If you did, do you regret leaving “set life” at all? Any pros/cons you wish to share about leaving the film industry?

I am still so disappointed in the way that Ellen's show was terminated. I used to watch her for so long and to find out that eventually she was exposed as a bad person is so disheartening to me. It seems like very few people can be trusted nowadays.

I took a 3 mo. maternity leave this year. My firm calculates bonuses based on the amount of collectibles over the course of the calendar year with a minimum collectibles amount in order to qualify for a bonus. How have you women dealt with this? Obviously it’s difficult for me to meet my collectibles requirement for a year when I only will have worked for 9 months. Have any of you requested that the minimum collectibles/billables amount be prorated? Any other suggestions/thoughts? Thanks!

Stuck in a terrible project that lasts 4 more months. I'm already planning to leave the firm in 5 months to go into academia. Should I try to roll off from the project early and regain my happiness?

I just went through LinkedIn and i figured out that mostly all of you are from either of IIM Ahmedabad, Banglore or Calcutta. It kinda demotivated me and have lost hope to even think that i can be a part of MBB someday as i am from tier 2 IIM.
My dream job was to work with MBB as a consultant. Currently, i am serving notice period with more 30 days left to end and trying hard to get any call from MBB but still awaiting. Any guidance please?

I take that extra step to find and reach out to recruiters for companies like Apple, Microsoft, GS, BofA and I just get my message read and ignored. Was told all my life to take initiative and take the extra step especially as it relates to work and getting a new job. Doesn’t seem to apply.
