I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.
YOE: 2 years

Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

Lagbhag 5000 log hain Globant me to Isme 1% log to rahenge naakhush. Talk to recruiter and your hiring manager and get things clarified and express your expectations clearly.

Hmmm so much hate so much negative talk why guys ?
Why because you didn't get hikes - can you compare according to the market, how many companies gave hikes to employees and that too how much ?
Why because Globant is shaping themselves according to the market not you ? You may leave the next day or in a month then you expect them to keep policies where each of the new joine expects bumper hikes and each of the existing employees might leave due to the factor called career growth nothing but high ctc ?
Why because Globant is increasing and focusing on organisation development ?
Why because they are not giving free snacks ? Don't joke it grow up guys !
Hope you read the offer carefully less then one percent knows that organisation changes are there sole decision and many more are there which even none of many here might not even know just throwing out in air ? Comm-on guys have some integrity because you have signed the offer with your acceptance then learn to accept the changes which organisation put in place ! Every other organisation is doing that , there are little to no hikes out there also ? Did you question that yourself
I ponder that everyone knows the reality of the market. They are still not able to do inline so called change in their mindset -
Globant today also is one of best and will be ,,just frustration or negative due to couple of pointers cannot tag aby organisation as bad or to not join
I have been with globant i would strongly recommend joining it
They offer top notch till date - no variable component, clear fixed ctc and on table a very clear payout - then where is the problem guys ? You want ctc beyond 4 to 5 x of your yoe ,,, still not happy ? Why ? You only started this era of counter offers or huge ctc some years back now organisations are shaping themself according to the employees where they play on cross offers, fake interviews , will join only when they get huge hikes then why today so frustrated? You are already having more than a benchmark ctc still not happy still not satisfied?
Not every time globant or any org can be questioned first you need to question yourself retrospect yourself where you are heading to ,, don't be flock of sheep - we blaber change change - start it form yourself first
Note - Left globant sometime before but it's always and admirable process to be with them - start till end ! They are way better then many.And would strongly recommend anyone to join Globant ! Hr or she should move over negatives or frustration of others to impact their own career ! Cheers 🥂
