For a weeknight game you can buy your tickets closer to start time for the best deal as people will start dumping their tickets. Plan accordingly for traffic there as you will be driving through rush hour. It’s a newer stadium so all the seats are good, just depends on how much you want to spend. Left field near the bottom is AYCE, so keep that in mind when looking at prices and verify that is included with the seats.
Parking - there's usually off site but legal parking nearby that's cheaper than the official lot. Uber is a pain leaving bc of the traffic. No public transportation in Arlington, unfortunately. But I bet it's not too packed being a weeknight. Go Rangers and welcome to Dallas!
I got three kids and we realized it’s much easier to be a Roughriders fan than a Rangers fan 😂
Be sure to check them out too…it’s a great stadium, great prices, fireworks every Friday night and different kid themes all the time (Star Wars Night, Pirate Night, Princess Night, etc.)
Plus the ballpark has been voted Best Minor League Park many years, it’s just a really nice and relaxed vibe. Throw in $5 parking and $1 hot dog/$1 beer nights and you really can’t go wrong. Pitchers are still throwing 90 mph, they just aren’t paid $100 million contracts which mean my family can afford a game. Love the Roughriders!
We’ve also gone a few times to the Allen Americans minor league hockey games. Still feels like hockey but it’s cheaper, a smaller arena (so better seats) and we went on a Harry Potter night where everyone dressed up and the kids went down after the game to skate for free with all the players. That doesn’t happen with the Stars
I always use ‘a view from my seat’ website when buying tickets at stadiums. Helps you have an idea of what you are getting for your money
