Are there any Deals/M&A Data Analytics roles around that don’t require a formal data science degree? I applied for PwC’s Deal Analytics role but was rejected.
Looking to apply elsewhere and will gladly give someone a referral bonus if they have this group at their company!

I really want to:

1. Do something useful for society
2. Be more than a strategic advisor
3. Get paid a lot ($1M+)

Working on a regular desk and my laptop has been killing my back and neck for last few years. Finally spent a couple hundred dollars on a standing desk, wireless keyboard, and back/neck heating pad to alleviate the pain. Very hopeful working will be much better now.

What’s the base for CL8 (CDO)? Glassdoor doesn’t seem accurate, as it pegs CL8 at 56k. Currently a CL9, on 52.5 in London. Promoted from CL10 last year too, so still a fairly new CL9.

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?
