I received an offer from Cognizant for 10.5 LPA with 45000 Variable and 75000 joining bonus.

I didn't even negotiate with them because I got an offer from FIS for 12 LPA.

Even before sending rejection letter to Cognizant they revised offer to 16Lpa with 45k variable pay and 1Lakh joining bonus.

I am not getting why they revised offer. Till now I was pretty sure I was going to Join FIS now I am confused.

Interviews with a private credit / direct lending / distressed real estate group have been going on for 6 weeks and now I’m waiting for the the final decision.
