Firms often share the number of employees by gender or ethnicity tagging diversity goals. Have they shared the average pay by level by gender or ethnicity? This would help provide transparency into the pay gap.

Trying to get ahead of my caseload feels like trying to climb a hill made of loosely-packed pebbles. No matter how much I scrabble, I’m sliding closer and closer to the bottom.

Is it a good idea to invest in your UK pension fund over the max your employer will contribute/match? This may potentially lower income tax but then one can't really access the pension pot till retirement.
