The struggle is real...

My boyfriend is texting his best friend's girlfriend. He openly says "oh i texted her about x" to me and I believe him...but my concern is that they're going to start some sort of flirtationship. She's some sort of model and has even told her boyfriend that my boyfriend is funny whereas she says her boyfriend is obnoxious. Is this something to worry about? We're not in a great space right now so Idk what to think.

Is it irrational for me to get an “ick” for this?

I went on a “date” recently. I paid for the tab as they were going to the bathroom. As we were leaving they said “thanks for lunch” — I was hoping they’d at least ask to Venmo me half as a kind gesture. Following lunch we grabbed dessert. I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I am fine w/ paying but I was hoping the gesture would at least be presented… am I crazy?

Hey All, just wondering what’s happening with McKinsey’s Quantum Black and BCG’s many product ventures (BCG Omnia, BCG Digital Ventures etc)? Are they working on creating a products and up selling to their current clients? Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?
