Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

I resigned from TCS in August and in another 18 days it's my LWD with TCS, now i got call from my lead saying they will provide canada onsite opportunity and he said he has multiple projects at onsite which he can give me, some are saying it's just a gimmick to retain you nothing else, my DM asked me to say yes or no by tomorrow so that he can start the process he said once i get approval mail then only i can take back my resignation. Onsite period ? Sending you for 6 months or more than that?
giving it after 6 months and onsite period of 1 year
What's your current package ? Also, if you are planning from Financial perspective.. don't wait. As generally you don't save that much in onshore role initially, In longer run you earn there.
If you want to have onsite exp. then stay back, irrespective of financial loss. Once you have work visa, you can always switch after going onsite and stay there for a longer term.
So, take decision from that point of view.
As new firm might not give onshore role that fast.
If it is in written, 90 percent chance is there that you will get onsite for promised period. Always there is 10 percent chance of cancellation due to any last minute issue. But dont worry even if it gets cancelled, they will also try to consider you asap as it was as already promised to you via mail.
After leaving from the infosys, i came to know that it is indeed a trap. As i got to know from my friends that development has been stopped and we are working on bugs because of budget constraint. I made my decision to quit and I have no regret . I joined in a new company with new team members . Wishing u all the best and take decision in your life wisely.

Same thing they are offering me , however I do not believe to Infosys managers, they commit lots of things even on paper however things get change slowly when you stay back.
