How much rent should I be paying?

Finding a house-share with enough working space for wfh seems expensive since I first moved to London 4 years ago - £900+ pcm and still competing for the room! Is it worth just trying to rent solo a little further out for ~£1,300pcm? Big issue is I’m only earning ~£45k with 4yoe.

Anyone else work with international teams meaning they have to start their day extra early?

I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?

Is it worth for me to get a masters (non-MBA) for Cambridge / Oxford after 3-4 YOE? Currently have an offer for Master of Bioscience Enterprise at Cambridge but not sure how helpful it can be for future opportunities.

Question to immigrants with parents overseas. I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. Anybody in managed services have a similar position to compare
