Hoping for some advice. I'm deep in the job search, and may have an offer soon... but I also have a trip booked that I can't cancel. I've heard of people getting ghosted just for bringing the topic of vacations up! Do you think it's okay to take a pre-planned trip soon after starting a new job? I may be overthinking this, but I would like to hear others' thoughts.

I’m having trouble working in Tax. I’m overwhelmed and am feeling like I’m not producing my best work. I’ve been working a Boston based commercial lender for about 9 months as a credit analyst since leaving my relationship manager/portfolio manager role in agricultural lending. I’ve been presented with a portfolio analyst role they have created for me (was told not to apply for a PM role) . The offer is for $100k, is this reasonable?
