How and when do you disclose in interviews that you were let go from your last job after being placed on a PIP? Do you have to disclose it at all?
Do they even ask? And can I frame why I left in a way that isn't a complete lie?
TLDR: Got put on a PIP and removed from my project at my last firm. Wasn't performing well for a variety of reasons.
Left on otherwise good terms-my managers praised my attitude and integrity. Just couldn't cut it:/ have been working hard the past few months to up-skill

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

My husband has dermatomyositis, and his doctor put off treatment so that we could do some collection and go through IVF. I felt like my dr was blowing off our timeline, but I persisted. I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!
