Any tips on leaving a firm “correctly”? Was about to go “of counsel” with my firm of 6 years, but then another firm whose partners I really respect (and personally like) offered me a partnership position. I'm at an early stage tech start up and gaining experience in an industry that I like. However, I am getting no formal training or sales coaching. Everything I've done so far (Inc. Having an issue with direct 401k rollover. I had an after tax portion with old plan and my new 401k plan now does not accept after tax rollovers. The check has already been issued to a state street bank & trust FBO [my name] and I can’t reissue to a new bank. Any tips on deposit this check to an IRA? I recently found out they’re shutting my team down.
