How are High Schools doing College Visits this year? Google meet, zoom, something else? Do students Pre register? During the school day or on the students time? Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

So I’ve been with a court for a while and honestly the pay sucks compared to what paralegals should be making… the benefits are great though and they match my retirement 100% now that I’m vested at 3 years.I have 4 kids and 1 is getting ready for college. I had my LWD on 27th june ,before a week of that i had HSbC last round in which I clearly told I wanted to join by 4th july as my next joining is due at that time.
HR agreed and told will fast track your bgv .
Now the problem is they released offer for 11thJuly saying will preponed in case bgv finished early.
Today I again got a mail for 18th july extension.

Am quite worried here now, as I already said no to other companies !should I try looking again.

Analyze your data. Compare your on-track seniors to the last few years. Find out the differences btw your district and state graduation requirements and push your school board to adopt the minimum in order to help your failing seniors. Not graduating HS will be a big blow in the middle of a pandemic
