How are people handling the pressure to have everything in your life sorted before even getting admitted? I keep seeing applicants with polished career stories, side projects, and perfect narratives, and mine feels messy but real. I know schools want authenticity but it is hard not to feel behind.

Does anyone have experience working for a ALSP? How does compensation work (pay and benefits)? Are you an employee or technically an IC? Do you have billable requirements like at a firm? How do you think it prepared you to potentially move in house? I'm currently at a firm but thinking of taking a position with an ALSP but my goal is to go in house.

Have you seen women wear ties and "masculine"-looking suits to work? Was it accepted by client and team? I've never worn a tie to work, but when I've worn clothing that had a more "masculine" fit either in grad school or some work environments, I've gotten comments and looks, or sometimes asked (or people gossiped) about my orientation. When I wear more "feminine"-looking clothing, I feel more more uncomfortable and awkward. 🤷🏼‍♀️

MPLS CD salary range? CD/art relocated to MPLS during covid after a decade in NYC. I have had a unique, non-trad career. Got tapped to head/run/build in-house creative dept. at a high profile international design brand (not target). Truly a unique opportunity. Kicker—company wants to title role ACD but its not, its top creative mgmt role in company—headhunter agrees, can adjust title to CD. But, salary seems low, around 150-170k. To those with an anxious attachment style and have trust issues due to past childhood trauma you’re still healing from: How do you keep yourself from thinking your significant other is going to cheat on you when she/he goes to a party or out while you’re miles away? I’ve been in therapy to help, and trying to distract myself but my anxiety is keeping it from working and don’t want to put that pressure on him because I’m trying to work on it.

Accenture tech consultant vs KPMG Management consulting for top MBA exit in a few years? Which one will look better?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).
