How do I plan for maternity leave while trying to change job? I desperately need to leave a toxic workplace but we’re also planning to have kid within a year. Most places have 12 months waiting period before I can be eligible for maternity leave. Plus the risk of being let go if I go on such a long leave in the first year of joining a company. Does any of you work at a company with generous and protected paternity leave?
