I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

First time I hear of such a benefit/option after working for years! Hello, I wanted to mention that I work as a sports commentator, specifically about soccer. I used to be one of the main journalists for Spanish media, but since I moved to Miami I feel the general passion for soccer is very different 🥲 The energy and commitment are not even close to what I felt in Spain, where some businesses would close if the match was too important. And what is general experience criteria for L6

1. What % of the variable one gets in a year? Is it 100% as they mention in the offer letter or less? Does it depend on performance ratings?
2. Is Level 6 okay/good/appropriate for 11 YOE?
