Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

$680 per day x 260 working days (average) = $176,800 a year.
Tell them that number then negotiate from there.
it’s never a direct equation going from FL to FT. Frankly now that I have freelanced I don’t think i’ll ever go FT again, the cut in pay is just too much (i have way more leftover now after I pay for health insurance). I agree with what others have said, definitely go higher than your last job but not as high as your gross annual pay from freelancing. Do you really think leaving your house for less than 100k (gross) makes sense if you can make more?
Realistically it’s more like x 125. Freelance rates are about double full time to account for lack of benefits and gaps in work
I’ve been freelancing for the past month at a day rate of $680. Now the company wants to take me on full time, but obviously in that case the hourly rate would be less since I would have PTO, 401k, health insurance etc. How do I calculate the salary needed for this role?
What is the Ft role /job title? In what city?
I’d say that role is $110-135k
I used to charge 20% more for freelance. As salary increased I add 10%, think it’s a sliding scale.
Oh and the base number is hourly times 2000.
This is the perfect question for Google or Chat. Just sayin
