I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

To be honest, the boys club is over. Just gotta do the good work to take over their jobs then there will be no more boys club ever again ;) they are a dying species
Not here @Edelman. Global CEO is Wendy Clark.
There will always be an elite in-group, it just won’t be gender based and (most likely) you’ll always be on the outside.
this will always be true
It’s only a boys club with creatives. Everybody else is pretty mixed or probably female heavy.
So true
Boys girls, whatever. The problem is it’s a club/clique at the top.
Account is mostly women. HR is mostly women. Creative rank-and-file is 60/40, women. The “boys club” you speak of is at CD-level+, and in the C-suite.
Media is 70% female if I had to guess.
Sadly, until it stops being a global problem, it’ll always remain an agency problem. But since it’s now palpable, there are few who are unintentionally fostering that environment.
I think it will take a generation to fix. Probably another 30 years to get the old world order out of leadership and see more substantial change
It’s all about the haircut
Out of 23 new hires in the past few weeks, 6 were men. We are intentionally NOT a boys club, with frequent women-specific events and PR promotion of women specifically. Special rooms exclusive for nursing mothers. In fact, we’ve created new C-suite roles to give women more executive leadership positions. What I’m saying is...not every agency is like the agencies you’ve experienced.
