How do you deal with knowing that everything we do is meaningless?

We’ll continue working hard, but not be able to live a lofty lifestyle. Constant stress about bills, putting food on the table, and how expensive it is to just live. It’s disheartening.

Being grateful that I have my health, family, and friends. Which my job helps me to enjoy. That is how I feel rich, not by my bank account, but the people who love me.

Life is more how you react to situations you are put in. While I agree the rat race is disheartening and social media makes comparing our lifestyles against the rich and lavish even worse, you just need to find happiness in simple pleasures and appreciate what you do have.

Every single occupation has moments where the worker can look back with an attitude and will lack feeling any kind of meaning in their job. I’d go as far to say as doctors at times in extremes (obviously far less than us) but at the end of the day it’s how you view yourself and worth outside of work. The grass is always greener so water your own yard

I try to work on my hobbies as much as possible and make life worth living outside of work. I absolutely genuinely hate and despise my work life and many of the bosses, and how I feel underpaid overworked and undervalued for 10 years so far. It really is meaningless work oftentimes. How in the hell are the fees so high? But it beats being dead. I tell myself all the time, just try and have a decent life outside of the work office and disconnect. I sincerely hope that this is helpful.

I’ve been practicing in traditional labor for about two years now (although about a decade of labor relations experience) but I’m trying to break into employee benefits law. Unfortunately I’m not being given much experience in benefits as I’m pretty typecast as a labor atty. Any advice on how I can go about getting employee benefit experience? My long term goal is to have benefits be my main area of practice.

Looking for legal recruting department organizational structure information. Does anyone here oversee an attorney recruiting team at a law firm and would you be willing to share how your team is structured? How many attorneys do you have? What are the titles on your team and how many offices do they support? Working on building out the appropriate staffing model and would love to hear how others have structured the size of their teams and how you made the pitch for said size of staffing.

I have just started my journey in Salesforce and I have started working on Salesforce Vlocity. Order management to be specific. I wanted to know what are the opportunities and what kind of job market is there in Salesforce/Vlocity.

Also is it good for learning to start off with Vlocity/Order Management right off cause it is a bit confusing for me.

Some guidance would be useful
