Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture Accenture India

I switched jobs. I know that sounds bad, but if I find myself dreading Sunday, I need to find a new position. It's honestly gotten a lot better thankfully.

Can you share, did you switch out of education or to another position within teaching?

I hear that!
Be as prepared as possible.

I try to be or at least have a plan.
I make sure all my lesson plans are done and ready by friday the week before. Makes it much easier to relax on the weekends

That's true. As often as I can I try to have one day with no schoolwork and then get my work done on the other day (or ideally, before I even get to the weekend).
Be prepared. Have great plans

I try to at least be prepared... I hope they're great plans!
I prepare all my school assignments for the week on Saturday so I can just relax on Sundays. I need that one day of down time with no distractions.

I switched districts to one with realistic expectations.
Things like keeping prep time sacred, not tracking every possible point of data, realizing that a single teacher can’t be responsible for multiple years worth of growth, not expecting teachers to be the point person for every attendance issue, and understanding that “relationships “ aren’t the golden ticket for every behavior.
Personally, I treat Sunday as a chill day. Drink wine, relax, maybe take a bath… just relax in preparation for the week.

That sounds relaxing!
