How do you know if your agency is OK with being mediocre?

I'm OK with mediocre work if it pays my bills and I get to go home to my loving family at the end of the day. It doesn't have to be about ego if you don't want it to be.

No agency is ok with being mediocre. They will always prioritize something. FCB for example, amazing at client relationships. Other things may suffer, but every agency finds a niche in the marketplace for what they offer and fully exploits it.

If it’s turning a profit.

Fellow Fish with little kids.
My son is just over a year and has been a mommy's boy since the day he was born. This weekend he came to Daddy over Mommy and has been wanting me to pick him up more. I felt so useless during his first few months because he was so attached to his mom, but now I finally feel the love he has been giving mommy and my heart feels full.
Just wanted to share a good story with my fellow fish and hope it brightens your day.

I keep watching Schitt's Creek reruns now and then. It makes me feel warm and mushy, but also super lonely. So tired of being perpetually single. I know it's been posted about here a bunch of times before but it still sucks. Venting and knowing you're not alone, helps a tiny bit. =) Also does anybody else thing Patrick is essentially just a 'too good to be true' fantasy boyfriend Dan Levy dreamed up and put on the show?

I finally got a raise (after 10 years) from 45k to 50k with less than 10k in incentives while others who are just starting at lower positions make more than me..I want to bring this up but don’t want to come off in a bad way considering they finally gave me a raise this year.

I renegotiated my start date and it’s different from the date I signed on the offer letter. Do I need to request a revised offer letter or is the email thread with the recruiter sufficient. By the way, my background check is already in progress.
