How do you manage and deal with being in an environment that lacks strategy, checks boxes and steals your joy? An environment where despite best efforts — you’ve come to realize it’s not going to change, because it’s bigger than you.

I’m open to any tips or advice on how to survive, exist and find a way to let go. With the job market obviously it’ll take time to leave. In the meantime I need to manage my stress

Some organizations are just like that, it's as if everyone is just going through the motions. And, if you're not careful, you may be turned into one of the automatons that are just, as you say, checking boxes. All you can do in a situation like that is protect your instincts and not lose sight of why you got into the work in the first place. Take refuge in your inspirations and creativity, but also start making a practical effort to move on to something better.
