Comment if you or someone you know makes $200k (could be cash + equity) working 40h/week (at most 50h occasionally) in an industry (not consulting) strategy operations or other business-related role (not product management or software engineering type of techy role), at age 25 or 3 years after undergrad. I know it’s kind of rare but want to know how rare/possible it is. What is their background and company (industry, stage, size, etc.) that got them to this nice position?Boston Consulting Group

What is an average salary of senior BA?
I posted my startup on here a couple of weeks ago and received valuable feedback from this bowl. I’ve made updates to the landing page and I’m looking for additional feedback. The site is still a work in progress, but would really appreciate if you could please take a few minutes to check out the site (Outvisory.com) and give feedback. Do you get the site’s value prop? What’s missing? First impressions etc. thank you!

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?
Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Weary (tired) or wary (skeptical)?
You’re talking about variable comp, not deferred comp. they are two different things.
I disregard all variable comp promises. Deferred but guaranteed comp is considered, but not for monthly expenses.
Just ask for average bonus not top end.
It’s kind of silly to disregard - it’s a huge part of the comp pool in a lot of orgs. As you get more senior it can be tied to specific KPIs too, which makes it clear when you get paid - then just ask for a track record of how often those have been met in the past.
