How do you measure the success of your consulting engagements? I'm often left with my self-doubts and worries after my sessions and decided to put numbers to things so I'm not making subjective assumptions about my performance. What metrics or feedback do you rely on to assess the impact of your recommendations?

I currently have a Bachelor's in Computer Science but want to be Cloud Security Engineer. I'm debating whether to go for second bachelors at WGU in Cybersecurity while self studying Cloud certifications, or doing the Cloud Computing while self studying Cybersecurity certifications. Or just go Masters with IT concentration.
