I currently have a Bachelor's in Computer Science but want to be Cloud Security Engineer. I'm debating whether to go for second bachelors at WGU in Cybersecurity while self studying Cloud certifications, or doing the Cloud Computing while self studying Cybersecurity certifications. Or just go Masters with IT concentration.

MBB offices for tech cases, low COL?
Currently working in tech, leaving for MBA ideally followed by MBB. Thinking ahead because of pre MBA events and long term partner. Paying sticker for MBA with loans, partner in school for 2-3 years after MBA. Which offices should I consider to build quick NW/pay off debt, build strong network in tech in/outside the firm, provide QOL similar to my unconstrained choices (LA or NYC)?

Having a hard time staying motivated through the application process. I know conceptually it’ll be worth it to go to the schools I want to go to but it’s so far away that it doesn’t feel real.

How did you guys stay motivated? For those that have already started your MBA program, what’s something that I might be able to look forward to that might keep me excited/motivated?

2020 fall admit here. Many of my main drivers for business school have been impacted by COVID-19, such as getting back on campus and meeting new people. Concerned I’ll be wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity starting b-school likely virtual. How have others approached the decision of going, deferring, or not going? I’ve been in tech for the last 5 years, working with AWS, hands on and customer facing. But my dream career is working at Netflix, Amazon Studios etc. perhaps in strategy or product management working with content - more the creative side. To pivot to Media, I’m starting to work with M&E clients at my current firm (made it a goal for 2021), looking at Columbia MBA for their Media program too. I really want to make the move, but not sure how to. Any ideas or anyone in the same boat?

I’ve had three interviews for an internal position over a period of about 6 weeks The last was over a week ago. And I can’t get the HR rep to even return an email or a TEAMS chat as to a ballpark when a decision may be made. VERY frustrating. Even just a “we will be making a decision soon”. Or whatever would be nice. I feel disrespected.
