Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

If you’re asking whether the WLB issue is distinct from the staffing approach I hear that, I’m just not sure what other explanations are available, aside from a more general observation alluded to in my last comment that too much work is sliding downhill and landing on associates’ desks, which would have more to do with the philosophy for distributing project work among people at different levels
