If Tech Mahindra HR is telling that after joining he will take care of onsite. It is US project. So in U4 Tech Lead position is it possible to send someone US onsite in L1/business Visa?? Shall I consider the onsite opportunity what HR is telling?? Or I should consider other companies to join. Please suggest I am really confused. Accenture Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

I often feel that way, that we're doing things to virtue signal rather than provide practical value in some way. In fairness, I think a lot of the culture war battling has made us cynical, as anybody doing anything well intentioned can be ridiculed as virtue signaling. And often is. But some of that criticism is valid, at least I think so.

Yes, I agree with you, but I feel like it’s blatantly obvious when a org/person is virtual signaling versus actually trying to implement well meaning practices that will help ppl other than the execs and their wallets. I want to see real change for the populations we work with. Otherwise, what’s the point? It’s so exhausting fighting this fight… especially under this administration
Honestly, I speak up, respectfully but directly. I try to ask why we’re doing it and push for actions that actually impact patient care. If we’re just checking boxes, we’re missing the point. Real change needs intention, not just a calendar invite and a slideshow.

Who do I bring it up with? My manager? The CEO? HR?
All these are performative, any special benefits, are performative or meant to just keep people happy enough not to quit a riot it’s part of a workplace. You can speak up about it, but it’s not gonna stop them.
