I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? (Drugs, sexual, inappropriate clothes, and sometimes like strip clubs- some parts). I know it is right to present us but I just feel it is not the right way to show who we are. I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

Need advice. I’m at my first job in private accounting. Previous experience is as an auditor. I am struggling to figure out the way JEs are posted at my current company. It’s never straightforward even for simple entries. There’s things like settlements which confuse the crap out of me. I’m curious if it’s just my company or if every sophisticated accounting department will have non traditional ways of posting their journal entries.
