How is MBA recruiting nowadays?

I’m deciding between Wharton or a Senior S&O role with a Tech Unicorn right now.

I’m drawn to Wharton because I think the brand will do me well in the long run (no name Canadian school UG). But at the same time, if my best case exit from Wharton is the same type of role, not sure I’d want to throw $250K for a 2 year ‘break’, as a lot of my peers describe it.

Would MBA be any good for me especially looking at strategy side?
I don’t want to spend $200K and would probably go online MBA in a mid tier school. Are those any good?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

Pros and cons for LBS/INSEAD Vs US B-schools?
