My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue?? Will I be asked to book a new appointment with renewed Visa and passport number ?? anyone faced similar situation??

Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.
