It really just depends. Most of the time it's within a week, although it can stretch past that depending on the position. The timing as well, for that matter. We don't have anything in the pipeline right now, but if we were to conduct a final round tomorrow or Monday, we most likely would not be getting back to anyone until after the holiday.

It’s within 2 weeks, usually just one week. At the final round stage, we are prepared to move quickly.

It depends on the company's needs and how soon that role needs to be filled. At a previous employer budget and timeline was determined before the posting went live. As soon as we found a hire-they typically were brought on within the next two week pay cycle. The offer went out and they had 7 days to accept or decline.

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

I have a long background in management and have been very successful in climbing the ladder but I would love to start career coaching on the side. Any feedback is helpful!
