I do. I make connections with kids that I know also share our faith :) but they have to bring it up first.

I do, but in a rural area so much less restrictive and supportive of faith concepts that other places I've heard of.

Me too!

Me, but my kids go to the Christian school. It opened when my oldest was entering 8th. My youngest started the next year in 7th.

I’m thinking of doing the same.

I teach Theology, so no public option for me. 🤓

I'm too close to retirement to leave

Yeah stick it out as long as you can. 🙏

I do for now.

Insurance and retirement are why I'm staying.

I do.

Just a bud river and technician here, and a pastor at a local Baptist church….however my wife homeschooled all four of our kids K-12 with one daughter left after this year. This was never my dream job but I stayed for the benefits.

I taught at a Christian school for many years and moved to public in order to prepare for retirement. I like my school and do miss the Christian school but there are many kiddos here that need love and attention

👋

I work in a charter school. This will be my first time leaving Christian school education

I do 🙋🏻‍♀️ and I’m the advisor of a student led Christian club on campus .

Yes, in adult education-we are salt and light wherever we may be

I’ve mostly worked in public schools (30+ years), but I worked in a parochial school for two years when I was in my 20’s. After I retire from public education next year, I may return to private for another 1-2 because I know that there will be more shared values with the families I serve. The philosophical and curriculum changes that I have seen in my district have been disturbing in so many ways.

How can we be praying for you this week?

Friends, are you ready to take the 'good person' test?

1) How many lies have you told in your lifetime?

2) How many times have you stolen anything regardless of value?

3) How many times have you looked at a person with lust?

4) How many times have you used 'Jesus' or 'Christ' in place of a flithy cuss word?

The bad news is we all fail the test. The good news is that Jesus paid the price for us, so that if we repent and trust in Him we can enter beautiful Heaven and avoid horrendous Hell.

Even in the Christian world, we can learn from secular teachers and scholars who have familiarized themselves with Biblical principles, even if they do not realize it. Who are some of these that you follow? Do you follow them often or sporadically? Currently I'm listening to the Jordan Peterson podcasts....www.jordanbpeterson.com/podcast/. Lots of great information from this psychologist who eventually found Christ. He has several audio books out as well. Worth your time to listen IMO...

Have been discussing Neitzsche's Parable of a Madman in my English 10 class. It's super cool how a prominant atheist's message about what you should place your hope/trust in has actually opened the door for tons of discussion about how everyone (atheists and theists) at some point need to grapple with the question: What is the source of your truth and morals? And in this parable, Nietzsche kindof admits/laments that this is a tough question for atheists to answer.

Hello! I am starting a Bible study devoted to teachers! This season has been hard, and I believe teachers need to be poured into so we’re able to pour into the kiddos.

It’ll be remote, and I was hoping it could be accompanied by an encouraging group message as well. Let me know if you are interested and we can find a way to connect!

There are 100+ illustrations like this in my hallway because an English teacher thought it would be clever to use "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" to teach imagery. I can't imagine too many more succinctly effective ways to misrepresent God than this. Since I have a tendency to just jump straight to what someone has done wrong and how they need to fix it immediately, what would you say?

Love reading through Paul David Tripp's "Come Let Us Adore Him" every Advent. It keeps me mindful of the importance of this season.
"The entire redemptive story hinges on one thing - the eternal willingness of Jesus."

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it.  Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth.  Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits. Love will never end.
Humbled and convicted reading this, but thankful as this is Jesus love towards us
