Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Deloitte

I don’t feel above it at all, and agree. Only questioned it recently as I’m trying to understand the industry standard expectation for future roles.
Some projects are for the reel some are for the meal. I’m now put on those projects when it’s more of a larger redesign or if it is a fast turnaround and they need someone who’s done it a bunch.

I fondly remember my first banner ad. It was an animated GIF89A that looped three times, 10 KB at 468 × 60. It was under 16 colors. I had to use some sort of wacky external plugin for Photoshop to export it.
There’s something soothing about making a tiny lil 300x250, putting some tunes, and then resizing that bad boy to 10 different formats. It’s a nice palate cleanser between productions tbh.
Just needed a peer to help shift my mindset, thank you 🙏
Feelin’ like I’m getting bogged down by the resizes, translating assets in addition to the above. Which I don’t think I’m too good for by any means, just lately it’s been where most of my time has been going
Changing superscripts, making banner ads, CVA's, you name it! It's part of the job
Yuuuuuuuup. I’ve done that in all of my roles, from AD to ACD and every where in between.

SAD, I’m glad you asked this. Aren’t Art Directors just supposed to create concepts and designs? If you add animation to these skills, are you worth more money, or is this just part of the norm now?
Hi. That’s everybody work. You do what needs to be done. Don’t be like that. No one will want to work with you. We GET to do this job. Appreciate all of it.
