Growing one indoors probably would be more trouble than it's worth. But you can buy living trees that you use for Christmas and then plant outside. If you want a repeat tree, I suppose you could lift it and bring it back indoors every year, but that might be a lot of stress for the plant (not to mention the person doing it). Getting a growing tree you plant on every year is probably the best option.

Yeah definitely wouldn't want to haul it in and out so much. Was thinking of a medium sized one not too big
It had never occurred to me to try this. Are you wanting to transplant an adult tree roots and all into your home? That would be challenging but if you started with a young tree it would take years for it to grow, you may not want to wait that long.

That was my plan to slowly grow it but didn't know if this was something that others have done. Seems likes it's possible so gonna try to purchase a young one
