For the most part yes, but can be prone to overwatering. I would find one (e.g. Echeveria) read about what it likes/needs and dive in. Jade plants seem to be pretty easy-going too.
Generally low maintenance, but read up on the specific variety to understand its water and light needs as these vary greatly for succulents
Obviously I don’t know anything about plants.
Thanks SC1 and D1!
The thing about succulents that no one tells you is that it might be impossible to give them enough light, at least without a grow light, inside. I knew they needed a lot of light, but I thought the brightest light available in my home would be sufficient. They died in the winter. When they're under-sunned and stretched and unhappy, overwatering becomes easier (even if you water extremely rarely). But there are succulents out there that would be fine - do some research for the ones that need comparatively less light if you are keeping them inside and you want them to live longer than over one summer. Echeveria and sedum I just don't think are supposed to stay alive at least where I live in winter light levels, but window situation is also a factor. My jade is still alive. The ones that do better are generally the less pretty ones like haworthia.
Did you end up getting one? I don't have a green thumb or anything but I was able to keep peanut cati alive and now I have so many
