Had only one call with my TL in first two months. Few weeks later, on workday I noticed that my TL got reassigned. Contacted him and have setup regular catch-ups. He dropped a bomb that he is leaving and I will be reporting to partner. Partner is time poor and no feedback is offered. I worked in QA automation for 2 years in previous company and then 2.5 years in python automation scripting sort of work in current company..yoe is 5.1 and I'm getting all automation testing interviews only. first round is mostly coding which I'm confident about and easily clear it, but never got through second round which is deep into testing techniques.. idk what to do, 40 days np left and the offer in hand isn't satisfactory at all. Any advice?

I was planning to decline a job offer at McKinsey and before I could email he called and asked for final decision and I said I cannot join due to a personal reason, which is the case in reality and just mention I was about to drop an email and apologised for the inconvenience.

He called me unprofessional and said you could have informed. I know I am at fault as well as the offer was released on Monday.
